What is a SQUAD and why do you need one? SQUAD is your ultimate empowerment team and community! 🌟 With us, you'll unlock creativity, strengthen family bonds, and embark on an enriching educational journey for you and your child. ✨

Here's how our high-quality art and STEAM education can transform family life, educators, and young children:

  • Enhance family relationships and create lasting memories through creativity-infused routines.

  • Foster 21st-century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership in both you and your child.

  • Boost confidence and curiosity through engaging learning experiences.

As parents ourselves, we understand the challenges of living an artful life with young children:

  • Overcome time, money, and space constraints by maximizing existing resources and routines with SQUAD.

  • Replace screen time with enriching activities, independent play, and technology-enhanced art skills.

  • Build creative confidence and explore artistic abilities with joy and wonder through SQUAD resources.

inclusive

At SQUAD Art Studio, we celebrate the unique potential of every young child, embracing all backgrounds and abilities. We believe children and their caregivers are strong, powerful, competent, and deeply connected to their communities. Join us in nurturing creativity, confidence, and community bonds!

process-based

At SQUAD Art Studio, we focus on the creative journey. Our process-based art is child-directed, choice-driven, and rich in materials, celebrating discovery and invention. Every project is unique, emphasizing the joy of creating rather than the final product.

inter-generational

Our programs are tailored for different age groups, ensuring each experience engages and responds to the unique needs of your child. We believe that children and their caregivers build strong relationships through shared art-making adventures, creating memories and connections that last a lifetime.

community-based

SQUAD Art Studio partners with community organizations to provide enriching art experiences for young children and their caregivers. We work with local preschools, schools, and community centers. Our collaborators include Great Expectations at Fairview Elementary School in Fox Chapel, the Lauri Ann West Community Center, Cooper-Siegel Community Library, and the Discovery School.
